The Origin of Snow White

I just read Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall. It was awesome but then expectations were super-high for this book so it's not a surprise.

One thing that did surprise me. I realized while reading 1001 Nights that I primarily read Fables to find out how Snow White is doing. I like alot of the other characters (Bigby Wolf and Jack Horner, come to mind), but I primarily check the book out every month to see what Snow is up to. If you had told me that when I first started reading Fables I wouldn't have believed you.

A Man Called Walker...

Using Google's new tools I found a way to put my characters on-line that I am relatively happy with. Walker is the first one:

The Blue Sands of Xan

So I just published my first document with Google's tools. Pretty cool. The document itself is :

The Blue Sands of Xan

It is a summary of the D&D games I ran in the Xan setting. I had already published it on my old personal site. Now it has been moved here with all my other stuff.

It's Stampin' Time

I didn't get very enthused when DC and the USPS teamed up, but I have to say the Marvel stamps are cool looking.

Of course I can't remember the last time I actually put a stamp on anything...

Planetary Rocks My World

Planetary #26 is out. I am quite happy to have it be the first piece of comic related news on the new blog. It is safe to say that it is one of my favorite titles at the moment. I have seen some scuttlebutt that this may be the last issue. If that is true, it's a bittersweet truth.

A New Day

Well I have been using my own blog software, for a long time, but I have to say it looks like that era is coming to an end (at least for most things). The various packages out there seem to have matured to the point where they are going to be useful.

First Post!
